Friends of Benton Park

Parents of children in school are automatically members of the Friends of Benton Park School Association.

The Friends of Benton Park arrange fundraising events and activities to help the school by subsidising school outings and purchasing resources. Some examples of events are listed below:-

Christmas Fair (market, secret Santa, Festive Feast, Santa’s Grotto, Elves’ Workshop) 

Summer Fair 

Sponsored Fun Run @ Rising Sun Country Park

Easter Egg raffle 

Cake Stalls

100 Club

The Big Sweep (to sweep the school playground areas)

The school is grateful for all the indoor and outdoor equipment it has received from this Association. Some examples of resources funded:-

Playground stage & partial surfacing

Playground markings for games

Peace garden items

Play equipment: balls, hoops, etc.

Netball and basketball posts

School sport kits for a team

Football goal posts

Christmas Play

Contributions towards transport for pupil school trips Volunteers are always welcomed, so if you are interested please get in touch by emailing friendsofbentonpark@hotmail.com as ideas/sponsorship for fundraising are always welcome. You can also help by using the easyfundraising.org.uk page and selecting Benton Park Primary School as a contribution of your purchases (for big stores such as Amazon) comes to the Friends of Benton Park too
