Deaf Awareness

Key to our practice as a school is developing deaf awareness - all pupils benefit from this: our deaf pupils feel included; our hearing pupils learn how to consider the needs of others. Deaf awareness is revisited and highlighted regularly throughout the school year for both staff and pupils.

Specifically within lessons and around school, staff are reminded to use the following deaf awareness 'tips' from our pupils.
